Reviews

"Rebirth spans the bridge from European classics to Hollywood high concept, and then reaches out and touches the heart of the American Heartland." -Mark Hastings, screenwriter, judge, Project Greenlight, NYC

"Captivating story from the lead-in right through to the rewarding climax. Solid entertainment value." -Larry Myles, Red Inkworks, Toronto

"Rebirth has it all, from the love and romance, to the martyrs and heroes staking their lives on the quest for peace and justice... I LOVED IT!" -Sasha Lauren, Epiphany Scripts, Los Angeles

"A classic. I recommend Rebirth to anyone seeking a, certain, international hit." -Steven P. Mark, Entertainment Attorney, NYC

"Rebirth is the best written script that's come across my desk in weeks. Your action scenes are particularly good." -G. Hoffman, BlueCat, Los Angeles

"The rich symbolism in Rebirth, is what makes it a story to be re-read or a film that will be seen again and again." -Rose DuSeigneur, French history scholar

"Lessons in wisdom and honor... A timeless and timely statement against intolerance makes Rebirth relevant to the civil liberty struggles in today's world." -Judge, Brass Brad, L.A.

"The two leads/love interests involving political intrigue a la Elizabeth, Braveheart, Marie Antoinette, the Tudors, etc. The religious persecution, lust/conquest transforming to love, taking a stand and fighting for one's beliefs are timely and timeless. The film should make for an engrossing experience." -Film History Professor, USC

"What an impressive epic love story! It has all the elements necessary to make a good film. It has romance, betrayal, murder, war, noble men standing for a noble cause. These elements are what sell this script: the massive nature of this story and the complexity of the events." -Jeff Swanson, Story Pros, http://www.storypros.com

“Rebirth is a historical epic of the Huguenot repression in late 16th-century France. It is very well written, fast-paced, and full of action, blood and passion. The story is well-researched, and the script moves along quickly and maintains a good balance of intrigue, fighting, and romance. There are many characters to keep track of and many threads to keep together, and the writer does both well. In many historical dramas, the history gets in the way of and even trips up the drama. Not here. The script could use one more edit and proofread (as could all of ours, no doubt), though mistakes are few. This is a very good script. Four Stars.” -Davvy
